I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!

Our family is on holiday and we are enjoying this time away from our normal hustle. Earlier this morning as we dressed ourselves warmly and walked and talked on the beach, listened to a short yet powerful video by Beth Moore of the gospel spoken with the kids and then played in the sand while watching the sun glimmer on the rested sea. I thought about Jesus and the cross and I am forever grateful. All thanks be to Jesus for enduring the terrible unimaginable suffering on that Cross for us. Jesus paid the price for us sinners, because of His amazing LOVE for us.
As I have been reading 'The Cross of Christ, by John Stott', even though I have only managed to finish the first chapter on the centrality of Christ, I am now even more aware of the wondrous power of the cross as the gospel core and symbol for us as Christians. Jesus, the Lamb of God Who fulfilled the Scriptures redeemed us! “He was handed over to die because of our sins, and He was raised to life to make us right with God.” Romans 4:25 NLT
During our reflection time back at our chalet, my daughters and I experimented with watercolour while listening to

*It is finished. Where there was sin, Your Love rushed in. Where sin runs deep, Your love and grace runs deeper still. Jesus. Redeemed by Your blood.*
Because of the Cross, we are reconciled to God and can enjoy our rightful relationship Him.
All Glory and Honour and Power to the Lamb of God.
